I’ve found sometimes the best cure for writer’s block is going for a hike with your camera or pulling out a sketchbook. For many years I offered my artwork and photography under WindinHair Designs. I created commissioned oil and acrylic paintings, displayed some of my canvases at a seaside gallery in California and have designed annual landscape photography calendars for over 20 years. I also love toying with mixed media and collage, creating junque journals for poetry or memorabilia, upcycling vintage fabric into textile art, beach glass into jewelry, bits of nature into sculptures. I still welcome opportunities to create something individual for commission or trade, or to join your group for a day of plein air painting and book sharing camaraderie.
